ანოტაცია

The systemic reforms implemented in the Democratic Republic in Georgia represent the subject of intensive study for Humanities and Social Political Sciences.

There have been published a number of works on political parties, the education system and self-government, economics, military sphere, judicial system, elections, legislative power, international relations, conflicts, wars and occupation.  Unfortunately, one of the most ambitious processes occurred in the period of Republic – Agrarian Reform can be encountered only in the individual monographs/books (Bendianishvili, Atanelishvili, Vadachkoria) and articles and, as a rule, it has been devoted a rather little space. The soviet/communist evaluations of the agrarian reform are purely propagandistic and represent  the continuation of “anti-Menshevik” policy. I think, the in-depth study of the mentioned issue as one of the salient reforms and its familiarization with the readers assume the great importance. The mentioned study aims to chronologically and systematically review the essence of the reform, the course of its process, contradictions and their outcomes.
